以前都是妈妈无微不至的照顾着我们，从小把我们养大，付出了太多太多，她们多么不容易呀!所以，我们要感谢我们的妈妈，体谅我们的妈妈。
我国是世界上四大文明古国之一，有五千多年的灿烂文化。尊老爱幼是我们中华民族的优良传统。我们为有这样的传统感到自豪和骄傲。作为一个小学生，我们应该继承和发扬这一传统美德。自古以来，有许许多多尊老爱幼的事例，如春风一样，感染着我们，打动我们纯洁幼小的心灵。
妈妈曾经给我讲过这么一个故事——百善孝为先。春秋时期，孔子最有名的弟子子路，小的时候，由于父母体弱多病，家里很穷。有一次，父母想吃米饭，可家里一粒米也没有，怎么办?小小的子路，于是，翻山越岭，走了十几里的山路，从亲戚家里背回了一小袋米。看到父母吃上香喷喷的米饭，子路忘记了疲劳，邻居们都夸他是个孝顺的孩子。
我的妈妈在这方面也给我树立了光辉的榜样，记得有一次，姥姥突然生病了，妈妈得知消息后二话不说，背起姥姥就直奔医院，晚上，妈妈一直守护在姥姥身边，整夜整夜不能入眠。人们都夸我的妈妈是个大孝女。我想长大以后，一定会“滴水之恩，当涌泉相报”，做孝敬父母的好孩子。

A long time ago, there was a huge apple tree. A little boy loved to come and lay around it every day. He climbed to the tree top, ate the apples, took a nap under the shadow… He loved the tree and the tree loved to play with him.
Time went by… the little boy had grown up and he no longer played around the tree every day. One day, the boy came back to the tree and he looked sad. “Come and play with me,” the tree asked the boy. “I am no longer a kid, I don't play around trees anymore.” The boy replied, “I want toys. I need money to buy them.” “Sorry, but I don't have money…but you can pick all my apples and sell them. So, you will have money.” The boy was so excited. He grabbed all the apples on the tree and left happily. The boy never came back after he picked the apples. The tree was sad.
One day, the boy returned and the tree was so excited. “Come and play with me,” the tree said. “I don't have time to play. I have to work for my family. We need a house for shelter. Can you help me?” “Sorry, but I don't have a house. But you can chop off my branches to build your house.” So the boy cut all the branches off the tree and left happily. The tree was glad to see him happy but the boy never came back since then. The tree was again lonely and sad.

在蝴蝶的眼中，花是天使，因为花给予她生命的甘露;在花的眼中，蜂是挚友，因为蜜蜂给予她生命的延续;在我眼中，文明是中华民族的传统美德，是做人的必备素养。
在日常生活中，我们经常会看到一些不文明的现象：有些学在校园里乱扔垃圾;有些学生在课间交谈时不时冒出一两句脏话;还有些学生只因为一些小事就大打出手，这些不文明的行为举止既影响了自己的形象，又妨碍了他人。有些同学可能会说：区区小事，何足挂齿，可你知道吗?“勿以恶小而为之，勿以善小而不为”，只有从生活的点滴做起，才会养成良好的生活习惯，才能成为一名文明小学生。
有一次，我在爸爸单位玩，不小心把手弄脏了，就去水池边洗手。正巧看见一位叔叔也在水池边洗手，只见他洗完了抬腿就走。我忍不住对他说：“叔叔，你怎么不关水龙头?浪费水多可惜呀!”那位叔叔对我的多管闲事很不高兴，爱理不理地说：“大人的事不要你小孩管!”我感到很委屈，我没再和他说什么，快步走上前把水龙头关了。
还有一次，我在上学的路上，看见两个男同学一边打闹，一边嘴里还骂着脏话。我说：“你们怎么这么不文明!”那两个男生看了我一眼，不好意思地朝前跑掉了。我心里感到特别开心。我想因为我的提醒，他们以后也许再也不会说脏话了吧!
讲文明就是这么简单，只要将每一件小事做好。看到地面上有垃圾，就主动捡起;公共场所想吐痰，就用纸包起来再扔掉;路上遇到同学时，给一个微笑;同学有困难时，热情地帮助;文明是平时与人相处时的亲切宽容，文明是见到师长时的问好，文明是不小心撞到对方时的一声“对不起”， 明是看到有人做错事的主动制止文明就在我们平时生活中的细心琐事中。
学做文明人，从我做起，从每一件小事做起，我想：每人心中都想着文明，并拿出行动，再小的力量也能汇成大海!以自己的文明举止影响带动身边的人，让文明与我们同行，我们的生活一定会更加美好。

大家都知道鲁迅先生小时候以为帮妈妈买药迟到受到批评而在书桌上凿刻“早”字提醒自己遵守学校纪律的故事吧。那凿刻在书桌上并激励鲁迅先生一生的“早”字，不仅是一种提醒，同时也是一种态度，一种严格自律、成就大事的态度。
下面，我再给大家讲一个反面的小故事：
清末时，一位日本军官东乡平八郎到中国巡洋舰“镇远”号参观。他登上巡洋舰后，有两件小事使他看穿了清廷海军的底细：一是他看到水兵把洗过的衣服晒在大炮管上;二是他下船后发现白手套脏了。可见所有的枪杆、扶手都没能保持干净。于是东乡向当局报告：“清朝海军虽然吨位多，但不堪一击!”果然，在1894年发生的甲午海战中，总吨位仅6.13万吨的日本海军，一举击溃了堂堂的北洋舰队。次年，清政府就签订了丧权辱国的《马关条约》。
这是个反面的例子，从两件小事表明清朝海军缺乏严明的纪律。一支没有纪律的军队，武器在精良，也是没有战斗力的。可见，严明的纪律无论对个人还是对集体来说，都是多么的重要!
“纪律之星”，顾名思义，首先要讲纪律。所以，在遵守纪律方面我对自己要求十分严格。我无时无刻都在提醒自己遵守纪律。在学校，我严格遵守班规、校规;在路上，我提醒自己遵守交通法规。无论在哪里，我都克制自己不要扰乱纪律。也许，我还有许多地方不足，但是在以后的日子里，我会更加努力，我会在奋斗中不断的成长和提高!

however, we need dreams. they nourish our spirit; they represent possibility even when we are dragged down by reality. they keep us going. most successful people are dreamers as well as ordinary people who are not afraid to think big and dare to be great. when we were little kids, we all dreamed of doing something big and splashy, something significant. now what we need to do is to maintain them, refresh them and turn them into reality. however, the toughest part is that we often have no ideas how to translate these dreams into actions. well, just start with concrete objectives and stick to it. don‘t let the nameless fear confuse the eye and confound our strong belief of future. through our talents, through our wits, through our endurance and through our creativity, we will make it.

perhaps the clintons' greatest achievement is their daughter, who moved into the white house as a young girl, and left as an accomplished young lady. it's not easy to be a teenager in the white house, but it's a lot easier when you have a loving mother and a loving father that chelsea clinton had.
this magnificent presidential library, and the american life it celebrates, would not have been possible without the love and sacrifice of a special lady. among his heroes, president clinton always includes his mother, virginia kelley, "a working woman and a widow." virginia was there when her son took the oath of office, and we know that she would be incredibly proud of this day.
the story that began in a little house on hervey street in hope, arkansas is the kind of story that inspires people from every background, all over america. in this great nation, it is always possible for a child to go as far as their talent and vision can take them. visitors to this place will be reminded of the great promise of our country, and the dreams that came true in the life of our 42nd president. the william j. clinton presidential library is a gift to the future by a man who always believed in the future. and today, we thank him for loving and serving america.

Duanwu Festival (端午节) is a traditional Chinese festival held onthe fifth day of the fifth month of the Chinese calendar. It is also known asthe Double Fifth.[citation(引用;引证) needed] It has since been celebrated, invarious ways, in other parts of East Asia as well. In the West, it's commonlyknown as Dragon Boat Festival.
The exact origins of Duan Wu are unclear, but one traditional view holdsthat the festival memorializes the Chinese poet Qu Yuan (c. 340 BC-278 BC) ofthe Warring States Period. He committed suicide by drowning himself in a riverbecause he was disgusted by the corruption of the Chu government. The localpeople, knowing him to be a good man, decided to throw food into the river tofeed the fish so they would not eat Qu's body. They also sat on long, narrowpaddle boats called dragon boats, and tried to scare the fish away by thethundering sound of drums aboard the boat and the fierce looking carved dragonhead on the boat's prow(船头).
In the early years of the Chinese Republic, Duan Wu was also celebrated as"Poets' Day," due to Qu Yuan's status as China's first poet of personalrenown(名声名望).
Today, people eat bamboo-wrapped steamed glutinous(粘的) rice dumplingscalled zongzi (the food originally intended to feed the fish) and race dragonboats in memory of Qu's dramatic death.

mr. chairman, i join my colleague mr. rangel in thanking you for giving the junior members of this committee the glorious opportunity of sharing the pain of this inquiry. mr. chairman, you are a strong man, and it has not been easy but we have tried as best we can to give you as much assistance as possible.
earlier today, we heard the beginning of the preamble to the constitution of the united states: "we, the people." it's a very eloquent beginning. but when that document was completed on the seventeenth of september in 1787, i was not included in that "we, the people." i felt somehow for many years that george washington and alexander hamilton just left me out by mistake. but through the process of amendment, interpretation, and court decision, i have finally been included in "we, the people."
today i am an inquisitor. an hyperbole would not be fictional and would not overstate the solemnness that i feel right now. my faith in the constitution is whole; it is complete; it is total. and i am not going to sit here and be an idle spectator to the diminution, the subversion, the destruction, of the constitution.
"who can so properly be the inquisitors for the nation as the representatives of the nation themselves?" "the subjects of its jurisdiction are those offenses which proceed from the misconduct of public men."¹ and that's what we're talking about. in other words, [the jurisdiction comes] from the abuse or violation of some public trust.
it is wrong, i suggest, it is a misreading of the constitution for any member here to assert that for a member to vote for an article of impeachment means that that member must be convinced that the president should be removed from office. the constitution doesn't say that. the powers relating to impeachment are an essential check in the hands of the body of the legislature against and upon the encroachments of the executive. the division between the two branches of the legislature, the house and the senate, assigning to the one the right to accuse and to the other the right to judge, the framers of this constitution were very astute. they did not make the accusers and the judgers -- and the judges the same person.

克林顿提到一个概念：“ubuntu”.意为“我因你而成”.即人在世界上不是孤立的，而是社会的一分子。他亦谈及我们不应将自身视为个体去追逐个人的成功，而应为全世界兄弟姐妹的福祉奋斗。非洲的艾滋病不是只属于“非洲”,印度尼西亚的海啸不是只属于“印度尼西亚”——我们思考时不应将其看作“他们”,而应视为“我们”.他敦促我们“花尽可能多的时间、爱心与精力去考虑那99.9%的人”.
比尔·盖茨讲了自己与妻子梅琳达如何扪心自问“以我们所拥有的资源，怎样能最大化地造福最多的人”这一历程。他致力于推进创新型资本主义。在其中，市场力量可以更好地服务于贫困者，极具说服力的阐释：如何利用纷繁复杂、让企业与政府获益的现代科技与创新，在发展中国家拯救生命、改善生活。
他向我们发出挑战：以你们过硬的文凭、才智和天赋，能否应对重大的全球问题，为更多人的幸福贡献力量。他也为我们送上离别的祝愿：“我希望，你们将来评价自己的标准，不单单是以职业上取得的成就，也包括你们为改变这个世界所作出的努力……以及你们如何善待那些远隔千山万水，除了同为人类之外与你们毫无共同之处的人们。”
两个截然不同的人，两场如出一辙的演讲。
你可能会问：为什么?但我会问：为什么不是这样?我们，作为稳拿“好工作”的顶尖大学毕业生，有年轻的活力，有社会的认可——我们没什么输不起的。我们也许以为自己所向披靡、高人一等，从而面临迷失自己谦逊与对全人类同理心的危险。但也恰恰由于这种优势，我们随时能以最佳准备状态服务于最富挑战性的愿景，投身于最具挫折性的目标。这不是要我们牺牲健康、财富或快乐去为其他人做牛做马，事实上，我们应该并且必须为了全人类的共同利益有所行动， 这不只是借由个体层面的同情与怜悯，还包括在梦想和卓越层面上进行革新与创造。我们不必放弃自己的生活，恰恰相反，我们可以通过为更多人幸福的奋战来改善自己的生活。
我认为，像名校的毕业生，身处一个独特而资源丰富的位置，就该为我们现在身处的世界、为未来一代又一代人赖以生存的世界全力以赴。我盼望全世界毕业生们，同样接受这一挑战，放低身段并为此努力。

当我进入工作岗位，我想起了南丁格尔。这位出身名门的女神，在那个战火纷飞的年代，提着一盏油灯，关爱着一个个生命，嗬护着众多战士的健康。因为有了她，近代医学史上翻开了一页不朽的篇章。从此，全世界记住了她，从此后的5月12日，护理学的奠基人——南丁格尔女士的生日，定格成为了一个节日——国际护士节。
当我穿上护士服，我想到：护士，这个平凡的职业，之所以被人们称为白衣天使，不仅仅因为你身着美丽的白衣，还因为你们凭着“燃烧自己，照亮别人”的坚韧信念，像春风，拂去人们的疾苦;用热血，温暖寒冷的心腹;用爱的丝线，缝合病人身心的创伤……你不仅是技术上的顶尖人才，而且是最有爱心、最有耐心的。这爱心和耐心是上帝赐给天使的翅膀，是天使带给病人的礼物。
每当旭日唤醒黎明，上班的号角吹响生命的晨歌。一顶燕尾帽、一袭白战衣又开始了这项伟大而又神圣的使命：带着一份炽热的爱心，穿梭在那没有硝烟的战场上，拯救着那无助的呻吟与满脸的痛楚。当我们日复一日地辛劳迎来了一张又一治愈康复笑脸盎然的脸庞，那一刻，我想到了什幺?作为白衣战士，也许这便是我无限的自豪与骄傲，因为我的工作得到了肯定，我用勤劳的双手去挽救着生命，把满腔的激情奉献给护理事业，把爱心播撒到每一位患者的心里。在平凡和岗位上成就我们不凡的业绩。

世上唯有孝顺不能等待，趁父母还健在。
在我成长的二十个年头中，父母一直担当着配角，整天忙碌的身影，都是在围着我转。而我，却当做应该的。爱的教育洗礼着我的心灵，让我逐渐明白有爱的日子里犹如面朝大海，春暖花开。现在我用文字记录我和父母的点滴故事，以此来回忆那些逐渐逝去的爱的温暖。
父母年近五十岁了，生活中有时难免磕磕碰碰，但始终相濡以沫，父母渐渐苍老的容颜，记载着他们走过的漫长而艰辛的岁月。有他们的日子里我会非常满足，而且充实。
母亲刚上完初中，因姥爷供不起学费，没有参加中考，便到地里务农。在街坊邻居眼里，母亲就是个女强人，上有老，下有小，和男人一样的劳作，还要照顾我和妹妹，但她一直是任劳任怨。父母结婚时只有三间房，连院墙都没有，现在这么多房子都是他们白手起家盖起来的。
记得小时候，爷爷虽然和我们住在一个胡同，但是在胡同的尽头，也有上百米的距离。晚上去爷爷家，母亲总是忘不了为我照路。她拿着手电筒站在门口，我顺着她照的光束往前走。我越走越远，灯光越来越暗，走到尽头时，却看到灯光依然在那里晃动，就大喊：“妈，回去吧!”隐约听到她的回声：“唉，慢着点。”我不知道过了多久，那灯光才渐渐的消失，但我知道，在光束那头，母亲一直在看着我。我也知道，我一辈子都走不出她爱的视线，母亲一直在背后支持和关注着我。
母亲前几年得了风湿病，阴天下雨行动十分不便，还要接送妹妹上下学，但每逢周日傍晚进城上学，告诉她别送了，可走到村头，一回头，她就跟在后头。黄昏里，母亲矮小的身躯被拉得很长很长，面容苍老的她正努力向我挥手，顿时我泪如雨下。
上中学后，我隔两周才回家一趟，晚上母亲就坐在我床边，东家长西家短的说得津津有味，最后没有话说了，就呆呆的坐在那看着我，怕我失去似的。我就说，妈你回去睡吧。她这才慢慢离开，可一会儿又回来了，说看看还有没有替换的衣服，然后又坐在床边。我知道她平时很挂念我，我也很挂念她，也许让母亲多看几眼，就已经很满足了。
母亲和父亲的相遇很是偶然。在农村就有：女大三抱金砖的说法。就这样在我们传统的李家新生开来，父亲和母亲就这样相遇了。
父亲年轻时学习优异，可上到初二，就被爷爷从学校里拽了出来，干起了杂活。从那以后，父亲远离了他的梦想，开始了平平淡淡的生活。我挺佩服父亲的，他每个行当都涉猎过，三百六十行，他几乎干了个遍。也许和他从事的这些行当有关，父亲的脾气性格和爷爷一样，爱帮人，不求人。在我成长的过程中断断续续的受到过父亲耐人寻味的教导，这对我以后的生活和学习中打下了坚实的基础。
小时候我很淘气，父亲就严厉地教训我，有时候我不服气，顶上几句，他就更凶了，随手摸个东西就要打我。
每次学校开家长会，父亲从不迟到，而且总是最后一个离开。去前他找出来那件最干净的衣服穿上，怕给儿子丢人。开家长会时，父亲就坐在最后一排，像个学生一样认真听班主任讲话，还不时的还拿笔记着什么。看着父亲因劳作而布满裂纹的手拿笔写字的笨拙姿势，回想起父亲为我的付出，鼻子一酸，不争气的眼泪就在眼眶打起转来。
父亲的教子理念很简单：棍棒底下出孝子。他还经常教育我：做一个男子汉，要站的直、行得正，拿得起、放得下，想得透、看得开。我也不知道他是从哪里学来的这些话，或许这也是父亲为人处世的态度吧!在做人方面我也很佩服父亲，包括爷爷，我们李家在村里的声望都是很受人尊敬的，这对我也产生了很大的影响。
白云从不向天空承诺去留，却朝夕相伴;星星从不向夜幕许诺光明，却努力闪烁。我从不向父母倾诉思念，却永远怀着牵挂。
我本想获得一滴水，你们却给了我整个海洋;我本想采撷一片树叶，你们却给了我整个森林;我本想获得一缕春风，你们却给了我整个春天。
树欲静而风不止，子欲养时亲不待。我永远不会忘记父母给予我的呵护和关爱，滴水之恩，当以涌泉相报。我逐渐的明白过来，为他们做点什么，这是最重要的，用文字记录父母和我的生活故事，用点滴的片段，描述一个普通家庭的爱的教育。回忆我和父母一起度过的闪亮的日子，历久弥新。生活在爱的家庭中，因为有爱，春暖花开。
